Overview
Pokémon Shirts presented by Original Stitch is a store based in Japan that sells Pokémon-inspired shirts internationally. They’ve created patterns for each of the first 150 Pokémon (1st generation), and I couldn’t pass the opportunity to try my hand on this! Note: This is a passion project.
For this project, I’ve chosen six of the 2nd generation of Pokémon that Orginal Stitch has yet to release or create. Each pattern design is thought up from either the Pokémon’s personality and/or environment that they would live in. For example, Mareep is cute and fluffy but also stores static in its wool to conduct electricity. The decision went to adding clouds that act as thunder clouds and match with Mareep’s wool shape.
